In this 6 hour course, you will learn a variety of new and exciting skills, including:

• Backwards figures: Learn to skate backwards with confidence and control with different positions such as spiral, shoot the duck, and more.

• Spiral: Master this graceful and challenging maneuver.

• Biellmann spin: Add a touch of elegance to your routine with this impressive forwards figure position 

• 3 turn: Learn this essential artistic pivot on one foot

• Intro to travelings: Take your footwork to the next level with travelings.

• Intro to 1 foot spins: Get started with one-foot spins, a key element of artistic skating.

• Intro to Waltz jump (off skates): Learn the basics of the waltz jump off skates before attempting it on skates.

Course Requirements:

• Be able to spin on 2 skates. A little bit is fine!

• Have attended our “intro to artistic skating” course, A level 2 course, or you’re self thought. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions about your own level.

• Be confident with backwards crossovers, transitions, and good one leg balance.

• Toe stops are mandatory for all artistic workshops
