Tired of basic stops like the T-stop and plow stop? Want to add some flash and speed to your skating? This rollerskating masterclass is for you!
Join Amir & Isle of Skating founder Nele , for a session focused on power slides and hockey stops to elevate your skating skills. Learn the mechanics of these dynamic stops, from foot placement and weight distribution to controlling your slide and managing your speed. A power slide lets you come to a quick, controlled stop while maintaining momentum, and a hockey stop allows for a sudden, aggressive halt, often used in sports like hockey (hence the name).
All skill levels are welcome, but participants should be comfortable skating forward and have good balance.
Some extra important info
All stkaters will need to provide their own quad skates, and skating protection: wrist guards & knee pads.
When booking this course you agree with our T&C’s and risk waiver. Please check out the photography consent form for information on marketing usage.
